Looks like Troy and Josh had mixed results last Saturday night. In the 500 class, Josh took 3rd in his heat race. He got out front in
the feature and held on for 17 laps! On lap 17 his motor shut down on the back stretch. He was able to restart it, but was now at the
back of the pack. Josh put on a charge and on the last lap, made a bold 4 wide move to go from 4th to 2nd and even passed a
lapper on the front stretch. Congratulations on 2nd place, Josh!
Results of the 600 class were the same as Josh finished 3rd in the heat race. In the feature, he battled early for 1st, but soon settled
in for a 2nd place finish.
Troy had a disappointing night. His 500 motor got held up at the shop and he bent 2 valves in the 600. What a tough way to start the
season. Knowing Troy, he will find out a way to salvage the season and make up those valuable championship points!
